And it goes something like– “dark period of Britney’s [and Jamie Lynne’s for that matter!] life - from a mother’s eyes.” Lynne Spears’ new book will apparently be titled “Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World.” She has been reportedly writing the book for a year but had to take time off to deal with older daughter Britney Spears’ meltdown and her youngest teenage daughter, Jamie Lynn Spears, getting pregnant out of wedlock. Lynne was like, ” ‘I can’t write a book right now. I’ve got to take care of my family.’ ”

Us Weekly says her memoir will be “useful for moms who will read it and say, ‘I can see myself in those same shoes.’ ” Yeah, like every mom has Britney Spears for a daughter, lol! Aside from this book, there’s another one coming out about the pop princess. According to the New York Post, reporter Ian Halperin plans to pitch “Stalking Britney: Under Siege With Britney Spears” to publishers next week. It’s expected to be a more lurid account of the troubled singer.

..but they’re not together! E! News reports that the pop singer has flown into Las Vegas last Thursday, after visiting her kids in Studio City. However, no one is too sure of what is the purpose of the trip. Is it bcoz she wants to bump into Kevin Federline? Britney Spears has so far been seen at the Palms Hotel, but a source said that she was not there for a recording session nor a performance with the Pussycat Dolls. The source also said that it is indeed “not a business trip.” According to People, Britney Spears is there to celebrate with her father, Jamie Spears, for the Father’s Day weekend.

As mentioned, her ex-hubby Kevin Federline is also in town. He received a Father of the Year award at the famous Vegas nightclub, Privé. We thought we’d heard everything when Dina Lohan received her Top Mom award last month, and now K-Fed as Father of the Year?? Yup, his paternal duties in light of his ex-wife Britney Spears’ personal turmoil has earned him the right to be called the Father of the Year. TSK!! The wannabe rapper arrived at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas two hours late last night to accept his award at the Prive Nightclub.

Now that’s way more than cool!!! Even if it’s just a rumor for now, this is really a good sign that Britney Spears has what it takes to become an actress and not just a singer. Talented girl! =) Anyway, if you remember, the pop star helped the CBS comedy “How I Met Your Mother” add more viewers, and for her work on the show, she stands to earn an Emmy nomination. According to reports, Britney Spears is listed on an Emmy ballot of 41 names for outstanding guest actress in a comedy series. This has been confirmed by John Leverence, a spokesman for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Nominations for Emmys — U.S. television’s highest honors – will be announced on July 17.

The Britney Spears’ two-episode venture into prime-time TV came after more than a year of turbulence in her real life that included a bitter custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline, two stays at Los Angeles-area hospitals for psychiatric evaluation, and a court order putting her assets into a conservatorship overseen by her father. In “How I Met Your Mother”, Britney Spears played an easily seduced receptionist named Abby. The show had been in danger of cancellation, but ratings shot up with Spears’ guest starring role.

That’s what the tabloids are whispering right now! An insider of Star Magazine claims, “Jamie’s been after Kevin to get back with Britney Spears for months. He knows he may have to pay to get it done - and the money would come out of Britney’s assets, which he now controls.” The source adds that Jamie first approached K-Fed a few weeks ago with a $2 million offer and that “he keeps raising the stakes!” to make the reunion happen. Britney Spears’ father want K-Fed back because of the positive effect he has on the pop princess. A source says, “When he isn’t in Brit’s life, she completely falls apart. It sounds corny, but he completes her - and Jamie knows it.”

The reunification deal would apparently include both cash and control for Kevin Federline. Jamie reportedly wants to open a company and put Kevin in charge of marketing Brit clothes, dolls, and other items. But so far, this deal is not yet happening. According to the source cited by Star, “The key is not letting Britney Spears find out. If she does, her pride will get in the way of her remarrying Kevin, even if it’s what she dreams about.” Helloo?? The that Star source should have not babbled in the first place!

How morbid is that?? She’s barely 30 and already, she has chosen her burial plot! If you must know, it’s located in the bittersweetly named Hollywood Forever Cemetery. After hearing about Marilyn Monroe picking her own grave site, Britney Spears wanted her own. And when when she saw Rudolph Valentino’s grave at the said cemetery she shrieked and said she wanted one there. But she doesn’t plan on going there anytime soon. Britney Spears says, “I’m going to live so I want to be brought to the Forever Cemetery when I’m 101.” Well, that’s good to hear! =)

But according to reports, she wasn’t able to buy her tomb in peace because despite wearing a black wig, she was spotted by fans and chased around the cemetery. A source explains the pop star’s weird antic, “Britney Spears is fascinated with Marilyn and visits her grave often. Since she’s been getting her life together she’s been reading about the star and recently has been glued to a book about the actress. She’s fascinated that Marilyn asked her favourite make-up artist to make her look beautiful after she died and picked her own burial plot.”
